A rocket is an aircraft propelled forward by the reactive force generated by the injection of working fluid (working medium) from a rocket engine. It carries all the propellants on its own and does not rely on external working fluids to generate thrust. It can fly in dense atmospheres as well as outside dense atmospheres, making it a carrier for space flight. Rockets are divided into sounding rockets and carrier rockets according to their purposes.
