After eating the fruit of the Tree of Wisdom, one can distinguish between good and evil. It is listed as a forbidden fruit by God and is not allowed to be eaten. There is also a tree of life in the garden, and eating its fruit can lead to eternal life. Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent and stole the fruit from the tree of wisdom. Their eyes were bright, but they angered God. God was afraid that they would eat the fruit of the Tree of Life again and live forever, so he expelled them from the Garden of Eden and sent angels to guard the garden, setting up a sword that could turn in all directions and ignite flames, guarding the path leading to the Tree of Life.
