This work integrates European architectural aesthetics, mortise and tenon woodworking techniques, and touch electronics technology. It uses laser cutting and assembly of oak wood to create a creative night light that replicates the shape of an ancient castle. It relies on human touch sensing to turn on and off the lights, making it a trinity of architectural aesthetics, mechanical structure, and electronic sensingSTEAMScience and technology innovation products.

2、 Product Highlights

1. European architectural style: Drawing inspiration from European tower arch columns and spire structures, the hexagonal base is matched with hollow arch columns to restore the details of the castle building. Lights diffuse from the hollow gaps, creating a strong atmosphere of light and shadow.

2. Mortise and tenon assembly process: Full board buckle splicing, no need for glue fixation, students can independently complete drawing, laser cutting, assembly splicing, and intuitively understand the principle of mortise and tenon interlocking structure.

3. Touch Intelligent Light Control: Equipped with a touch sensing module, simply touch the sensing area on the top of the tower to turn on and off the warm light, abandoning traditional buttons, simplifying circuit design, and learning the electrical principles of human capacitive sensing.
                               
3、 The Significance of Science and Technology Innovation in Education

The project integrates interdisciplinary knowledge such as architectural aesthetics, woodworking, analog circuits, and sensor principles. Students independently complete structural design, sheet metal processing, circuit welding, and finished product debugging throughout the entire process, exercising spatial modeling, hands-on practical operation, and innovative design abilities in handmade crafts.
