Source of inspiration
The inspiration comes from two aspects, the first being inspired by the reference examples of competition propositions. In the "New Home" themed laser creation activity, key hooks are a very common household item. Most key hooks on the market are static decorations - hanging the key completes its mission. As a maker educator, I am contemplating whether it is possible to break the "static" design logic and enable an ordinary household item to carry knowledge and tell stories? This question became the starting point of the entire creation.
Secondly, coinciding with the successful launch of China's Shenzhou-23 manned spacecraft, the whole country was excited. This historic moment deeply touched me - the magnificent scene of a rocket breaking through the atmosphere, the romantic imagery of astronauts exploring space, all of which are enchanting. I hope to integrate this sense of national pride and aerospace dream into daily life through creative design.
Design concept:
Two inspirations converge at this moment, giving birth to a clever idea: using the principle of gravity in physics, the key hook can be turned into a dynamic device that can "tell stories". When the key is not hanging, the porthole presents a vast starry sky and a mysterious planet - the rocket is soaring freely in the universe; When the key is hung and the gravity towing hook is lowered, the image in the porthole changes accordingly, and a cute astronaut waving at you appears.
The momentary change seems to be telling:Every time you go out and return, it's a space return, and the astronauts inside the cabin are welcoming you home.
This work is not only a practical household item, but also a miniature interactive device that integrates aerospace themes, physical principles, and emotional warmth - bringing science into life and giving homes a soul.
