Presentation video of the work:
The Little Red Bookhttp://xhslink.com/mkZCTI

In order to enhance children's hands-on ability and creativity, we usually lead them to make some seemingly "useless" little inventions. While improving hands-on ability, let everyone develop a small habit of "discovering and solving problems".

I have been tinkering with a small device recently, and if I don't mention its name, it may be a bit difficult to understand. Looking at the picture below, there are the main control, servo, LCD screen, clock module, and buzzer.
If we simply introduce these hardware modules, it may be difficult to guess that this work is called "Timed Medication Reminder", but if we add the wooden structure and appearance, this function is easy to describe.
5Corresponding to a small pharmacy5At different time periods, each medication compartment should be filled with the types and quantities of drugs that need to be taken during that time period.
The function of the clock module is to obtain the current time. When the medication time is reached, the main control will control the servo (small hand) to point to the corresponding medication compartment, and the buzzer will emit a prompt sound.
This work is mainly used to remind elderly friends to take medication regularly, because the elderly's memory and vision will decline, so they often forget to take medication and cannot read the instructions clearly without knowing how much dose to take.
With such a small device, we can prepare the necessary medication in advance and prompt the elderly to take it when the preset time is reached.

Finally, I would like to share the blueprint of this small device with everyone, hoping that more children and adults can start building it themselves!
