1、 Design concept
Tianjin - my hometown and the place where I have lived for twenty years. The most attractive landmarks here are not only various buildings with rich Chinese and Western characteristics, but I also want to design landmark buildings that integrate leisurely and interesting cultural features. After thinking about the reasons why Tianjin has been popular for tourism in recent years, this work aims to delve deeper into the soul landmarks of Tianjin, such as“8A"Diving Uncle", "Tianjin Seagull Only Eating Shaobing (Baked cake in griddle)", and so on.

Tianjin, as the tip of the Nine Rivers, has many rivers and a rich bridge culture in its architecture, such as the famous Jiefang Bridge and Shizilin Bridge. In recent years, these bridges have also shown new vitality, such as the Liberation Bridge opening and occupying the social circle, and the Lion Grove Bridge Diving Uncle repeatedly trending on social media... They are quite popular among young people.
The first layer of this work features pinyin with Tianjin accent annotations, aiming to convey the humorous accent characteristics of Tianjin people; The second layer features the famous Diving Uncle and Seagulls, which exude a sense of dynamism; The third floor is Jiefang Bridge, with famous and distinctive night lighting that is more in line with the production form of small night lights, and also intended to echo the Lion Grove Bridge on the second floor; The fourth floor is the Minyuan Square where tourists often take a break, with corresponding movements.
