It is not only the gateway to eastern Guangdong, but also a hometown of overseas Chinese that carries profound historical heritage and unique culture. A carefully designed night light that emits light through the tunnel of time and space, interweaving the light and shadow of Chenghai's past, present, and future. Through this night light, we use visual language to tell everyone about Chenghai's own story, inherit the culture of overseas Chinese hometown, and showcase Chenghai's vitality and innovative spirit in the new era, as well as a bright outlook full of confidence for Chenghai's future. We hope to help more people understand and fall in love with Chenghai. Welcome to visit Chenghai.

The design of the four story small night light is not just a lamp, but also a tunnel of time, leading us through the past, present, and future of Chenghai, and finally sublimating with the theme of Chenghai's toy mascot "Teng Teng". I hope to present the unique cultural heritage, charm, and development potential of Chenghai to my friends through this small night light.
Chapter One: Memories of History, filmed at "Zhanglin Ancient Port"
Firstly, let's introduce the innermost layer (bottom) of the night light, which represents the past chapter. The design inspiration for this level comes from the cultural relic protection unit "Zhanglin Ancient Port" in Guangdong Province. Zhanglin Ancient Port, an important port on the once prosperous Maritime Silk Road, has witnessed countless historical changes. Overseas Chinese culture is a unique cultural label in Chenghai. Zhanglin Ancient Port, as the starting point of the Red Headed Ship, was once a place where our ancestors sailed across the ocean to make a living overseas and thrived in unfamiliar countries through arduous entrepreneurship. This layer is mainly illuminated by red lights, which carry a sense of historical weight. The scene of the ancient port is carved on top, as if immersing people in that busy and vibrant era. The light passes through these carvings, like memories of history, both distant and real.
Chapter 2: Modern Vitality, Filmed at "Chenghai Music Hall"
The second layer of the night light symbolizes modern vitality. The inspiration for this level comes from the Chenghai Music Hall in the central area of Chenghai Aofei Civic Square. This is the first professional city music hall in Shantou, which not only represents modern culture but also showcases the city's spirit and style. This layer is dominated by bright green, which represents youth and hope. The outline of Chenghai Music Hall is drawn on top, full of vitality and energy. This is not only a tribute to the modern charm of Chenghai Music Hall, but also a praise for the city's economic prosperity, national prosperity, and people's well-being. As one of the earliest places of reform and opening up, Chenghai is constantly developing and progressing. The prosperity of the economy has brought more opportunities and challenges to cities, while also meeting the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the masses. The second floor of the night light is a microcosm of the modern vitality of this city.
Chapter 3: Future Prospects, filmed at the "Chenghai Science and Technology Innovation Center"
The third layer of the night light symbolizes infinite prospects and expectations for the future. Its design inspiration comes from the Chenghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, which is a gathering place for technological innovation. It not only represents Chenghai's pursuit of the future, but also a symbol of regional development potential. Chenghai Science and Technology Innovation Center is the first science and technology innovation park in Chenghai. The center is committed to building a new generation of industrial park that integrates industry and city, and integrates industry and education. It covers six service platforms: "scientific research and design platform", "cultural and creative platform", "talent exchange platform", "education and training support", "entrepreneurship incubation platform" and "e-commerce influencer platform". The Science and Technology Innovation Center has also established a Future Creation Vocational Training School, which collaborates with multiple external educational institutions to cultivate high-quality young technical talents. The outermost layer of the night light is dominated by a high-tech blue color scheme, and the flow of light resembles scenes from science fiction movies, filling people with infinite imagination and anticipation for the future.
Chapter 4: Sublimation of the Theme, Filming "Chenghai Toy Mascot"
The cover layer (outer layer) of the night light uses the Chenghai toy mascot "Teng Teng", which is a harmonious Chaoshan sound of "Chenghai" with the character "Cheng", symbolizing the toy city of Chenghai and the "soaring" of Chenghai toys. The Lion Head Goose is a symbol of the "World Goose King", and Chenghai is known as the "Goose Town". The mascot "Teng Teng" is designed based on the Lion Head Goose and incorporates high-tech electronic elements, showcasing Chenghai Toys' technological leading advantages. It also reflects Chenghai Toys' transformation from traditional toys to high-tech toys, and their determination to move towards the "World Toy Capital". It is also the beautiful vision and expectation of millions of Chenghai people for the future development of their hometown.
