Drawing Description

Design concept:
The design concept of the "Carving Light and Painting the Moon · Changong Time Travel" themed lunar clock is based on the excellent craftsmanship and ultimate creativity of laser cutting, which condenses humanity's millennium long longing for the moon, the hard core footprints of lunar exploration, and the advanced imagination of interstellar agriculture into this timekeeping creation that replicates the surface of the moon. At that time, with the flow of needles, it was no longer a simple time measuring tool, but a creative ark that galloped through interstellar time and space, freely exploring the boundaries of mythology and technology, past and future territories.

Dream of riding a boat and pursuing one's wishes:It makes the vision of "chasing the dream moon" enjoyable, perceptible, and resonant, embodying the historical depth and future possibilities of lunar exploration as vivid symbols on the clock.
Cultural Creativity Connection:It can be the "Chang'e imprint" dedicated to mythology enthusiasts, the "lunar exploration epic" dedicated to space enthusiasts, or the "future overture" dedicated to science and technology creators, becoming an emotional attachment that connects traditional culture, space achievements, and future intelligent manufacturing.
Future prospects for interstellar space:Connecting the past legends, current achievements, and future prospects of lunar exploration, connecting emotional mythological narratives with rational scientific and technological innovation practices, under the proposition of "interstellar imagination, intelligent future creation", opening a new creative chapter for humanity to explore deep space.

Key Node Design: Search for desired images and extract contours

Mythical starting point: Chang'e flying to the moon

Laser cutting creates graceful images of Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit, restoring the romantic imagination of "Yi's wife Chang'e flying to the moon, transforming into a toad and becoming a moon spirit" in ancient books. Anchoring humanity's initial longing for the moon with traditional mythology, it is the spiritual source of civilization's dream of exploring the moon.

Lunar Exploration Journey: Chang'e-1 to Chang'e-6

Chang'e-1 probe, replicating its "big wing" satellite structure, commemorates the first step of China's lunar exploration by launching its first lunar probe;

Chang'e-6, with its laser cut precise contours, showcases its groundbreaking mission of sampling on the far side of the moon, marking a technological advancement in China's lunar exploration from "orbiting, landing, and returning" to "sampling, returning, and exploring the far side".

Future Vision: Lunar Farming

Astronauts and 'Space Vegetables (Cabbage)'+The combination of "Lunar Potatoes" echoes humanity's cutting-edge exploration of lunar resource utilization - planting crops on the moon in the future is not only a necessity for survival, but also a symbol of the rooting of interstellar civilization, allowing laser cut metal and wooden components to grow a longing for the "extraterrestrial farming era".

production process

1. Shaping the Lunar Chassis: Mix quartz sand with an appropriate amount of adhesive, pile up the uneven texture of the lunar surface on the substrate, simulate the shape of lunar soil and craters, and wait for them to dry and solidify.

2. Drawing Lunar Light and Shadow: Using acrylic paint, the layers of light and shadow on the surface of the moon are represented by overlapping shades of gray, highlighting the three-dimensional effect of the circular crater and completing the lunar effect shaping of the chassis.

3. Draw and cut decorative elements: Use acrylic pens to draw patterns such as Chang'e flying to the moon, Chang'e probe, and astronaut planting vegetables.

4. Paste decorations and numbers: Use glue to paste the painted or cut decorative elements (Chang'e, probes, astronauts, etc.) onto the surface of the chassis according to the design position.

5. Install clock device: Fix the clock movement on the back of the chassis, install the hands in the correct order on the front, and debug to ensure that the clock runs normally.
