1、 Why do we need to transform Shenzhou Yike intoGRBLcontrol?

2.Why change the Shenzhou Yike toGRBL?

（1）The operation of using Shenzhou Easy Engraving is cumbersome and requires adjusting the laser power back and forth in conjunction with the front panel, which is time-consuming and laborious;

（2）Most schools/The factory uses Shenzhou Yikem2Version, this board cannot achieve integrated output of cutting and engraving, requiring multiple adjustments, resulting in low efficiency;

（3）CorelDRAWThe software is slightly difficult to get started with, which is not conducive to students' learning;

（4）ModificationGRBLLow cost and good environment, with the assistance of numerous enthusiasts, whileLaserMakerAlso supportedGRBLequipment

2、 Modification process

1.Confirm the board model and disconnect the connection wires from the original motherboard

GRBLboard(up)  Shenzhou Yike (Part 2)

Remove the original motherboard connection cable ⬇

2.replaceGRBLConnect the motherboard with fixing screws and complete the wiring according to the interface definition(Just connect it like the original motherboard)

(Note: Laser power supplyk+ k-Short circuiting is required,pgIf there is an external switch connected to the terminal, short circuit if there is no external switch)   

3.Connect the motherboard and computer with a data cable, and open itLaserMakerConfigure the machine

In the bottom right corner of the Layer Parameters tab, click Switch


Click Create and selectGRBLDevice, click next


choiceUSBClick Next after connecting


Set a name according to personal preferences and add processing range based on machine conditions


Set the zero point according to personal preferences and the position of the limiter. If there is no limiter, turn it off and automatically reset when turned on(Suggest closing)


After clicking complete, select the newly createdGRBLDevice, click on test, close the window after successful connection


Finally, conduct a comprehensive test of movement and reset. If there are no issues, proceed with border removal and processing;
as oneLaserMakerFor example, using2mmAcrylic carving and cutting are in accordance with the operation(Black line cutting, red for carving)
