雕刻技术在中国历史上早已有之，而且经过千百年的发展已达到非常高的水平，其中的艺术水平和雕刻技术早已成为中华民族的瑰宝被广泛应用于社会的各个领域。
雕刻标牌是采用雕刻的方式制作出来的标牌，雕刻标牌一般采用的材料为双色板亚克力等等非金属原材料，雕刻出来的最大好处就是不容易坏掉，因为雕刻是有深度的，然而材料相对来说不易变色，所以构成雕刻标牌是相当耐用的。
