Laser Creation | QR code doorplate cloud

Last semester, I saw a doorplate production case given by Lei Yu Science and Education, especially the expanded style doorplate at the end of the case. The simple design allowed me to quickly add two doorplates to the maker space. Based on the creative doorplate design activity and the fan room usage instructions, a QR code doorplate cloud will be designed and created using the laser cutting room as an example.

Education is like a tree shaking a tree, a cloud pushing a cloud, and one soul awakening another--Jaspers' "What is Education"

Import cloud image materials, crop ->extract contours ->adjust threshold parameters ->delete inner boxes.

Draw a suitable circle, Boolean operations make the contour edges more rounded, and node editing tools adjust some nodes.

Icon selection

Translate into English1.7.2Save the Lei Yu laser cutting machine icon from the version gallery to the new version for use. Adjust the appropriate proportion.

Design of doorplate coding

The doorplate coding design divides the maker space into two discontinuous areas, namely the hallway and corridor. Therefore, it is divided intoA、BTwo zones are encoded while considering the distance between them and the spatial entranceA3andA4There are also small partitions inside. Therefore, the coding design of the laser cutting room is as follows:A4-2The specific spatial planning and coding scheme need to be further discussed with team members.

Consider the impact of word count, stroke count, and font size on the ability to paste and fix text in accurate positions in later stages. The text "Laser Cutting Room" uses Chinese Caiyun font, with the outer contour cut and the inner contour traced. Text“A4-2”Choose regular script, initial sign, convert to curve → curve offset tool → combination, shallow carving of inner contour → select all and enlarge the scale.

QR code design

Use the Grass QR Code to create a website redirect code and link to cloud documents.

After testing, deep carving+The process of weak blowing can balance practicality and aesthetics.

After the design is completed, set the processing technology and sequence.

Next, we will proceed to the processing, assembly, and graphic design sections.

The first step is to cut different parts.

Step two, color the base plate with light yellow watercolor pigment.

Step three, use glue, double-sided tape, level gauge, etc. to fix different parts to the preset position.

In the process of processing the work, simple processes such as drawing lines, carving and cutting, coloring, and fixing with glue are used to preserve the natural touch of the wood as much as possible, making it warmer and more comfortable, and giving people a pleasant sense of happiness. The style doorplate produced by combining laser cutting technology can identify spatial information, showcase the professionalism and uniqueness of the space, and spread the culture of laser creation.
