The work is composed of a hexagonal base and a star shaped hollow lampshade, with "starry sky" as the core design element. It combines traditional woodworking techniques with modern laser processing technology, combining creativity, practicality, and artistic expression.

The work is based on the core inspiration of "stars hanging in the flat field, warm light accompanying sleep", focusing on the characteristics and advantages of laser cutting technology for creation:

1. Theme expression: Echoing the image of "starry sky" with hollow patterns of stars, the staggered arrangement of star shaped holes breaks the monotony of the plane, allowing light to pass through and form a layered light and shadow effect, conveying a healing and warm atmosphere;

2. Structural ingenuity: The design of using a hexagonal base with mortise and tenon joint lampshades ensures the stability of the base and can be assembled without the need for additional glue, fully demonstrating the advantages of laser cutting technology in precision splicing and standardized processing;

3. Integration of Materials and Craftsmanship: Using oak wood panels, the natural natural texture of the wood contrasts with the precise lines of laser cutting, retaining the warmth of handmade craftsmanship while reflecting the precision of modern craftsmanship.

2. Design drawing

Laser cutting processing

1. Plate fixation and parameter debugging

◦ Adjust laser parameters (power, speed, frequency) according to the thickness of the board to ensure smooth and non focal cutting edges, and clear and complete hollow patterns.


2. Cutting and Carving


◦ First, perform hollow carving: cut the star pattern on the lampshade to ensure that there are no burrs on the edges of the holes.


◦ Further cut the outer contour: Cut all parts such as the base, lampshade, and column, paying attention to the layout according to the drawing to reduce material waste.


3. Parts extraction and pre-processing


◦ After cutting, use tweezers to remove all parts and clean the residue on the board.


◦ Gently sand the edges of the parts with fine sandpaper to remove the slight burn marks left by laser cutting, ensuring smooth splicing.


Component assembly

1. Base assembly
